All of the properties are well positioned, close to amenities and local attractions. Dordogne is rich in history and famous for its gourmet delights, notably paté de foie gras, confit canard, walnuts and truffles...plus wonderful sun-filled summers!

Le Figuier in the Dordogne countryside
Le Figuier is an idyllic French house surrounded by tranquil Dordogne countryside with a private, salt water heated swimming pool and manicured gardens.
Le Figuier is a desirable holiday rental, immaculately presented and located in a quiet corner of Dordogne nearby to popular Hautefort, it is a house for all to enjoy. The swimming pool is full enclosed at this property which provides safety for children. Travel cot and high chair can be provided for babies and there are also stair gates.
Positioned at the edge of the terrace is a private-heated salt water swimming pool which can be comfortably enjoyed from May to September, there is an area for playing the popular French games of boules (pétanque) within the large garden as well as ample space to wander and take in the views of the surrounding countryside.
The house is situated within 10 mins drive from the pretty village of Hautefort, with its magnificent châteaux and several cafés, restaurants, exceptional boulangerie, epicierie, boucherie and supermarket.
Also within easy reach of Sarlat-la-Canéda, the capital of Dordogne, Périgueux. Montignac, with the world-famous UNESCO Lascaux caves, is also just a short 30-minute drive.
Les Maratoux, a traditional French maison
Ideal for those looking for a true rural experience. Surrounded by nature, with the most lovely views. Private boulodrome!
In the heart of walnut country and located down a dusty farm lane, Les Maratoux is oozing Périgordian wonder. Surrounded by rolling valley views, this rustic maison is a haven of peace and tranquillity.
Entering this stone house from its private garden you arrive in the heart of any home, the kitchen. With traditional terracotta tiled floor, stone walls and strong ceiling beams it will be clear that you have arrived in rural France.
Chez Les Maratoux is rustic-chic, with some modern touches throughout making it a perfectly comfortable space to be in, whilst remaining positively romantic and unspoilt.
The second floor is accessed via a wooden staircase, here you have the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, second shower and w/c. The master bedroom is dual aspect, with the kind of open countryside views that dreams are made of.
Antique furniture and seagrass carpet finish this uncomplicated yet delightful light-filled room nicely. Exceptional valley and countryside views are a given in this house providing the perfect backdrop to any family holiday. This house is located in La Chapelle St Jean which is a rural hamlet close to Hautefort, 10 minutes drive.
Villa de la Colline, the perfect family holiday home in France
Complete with a good-sized private pool, relaxed entertaining space, and within walking distance to a busy rural village.
This spacious property is located on the edge of the typically French village of Cherveix Cubas within the Hautefort commune. Villa de la Colline is an ideal holiday retreat for families who want a break from busy everyday life. This property has a fully enclosed pool area, plus a covered area by the pool which is great for kids, to shelter from the sun. The house has a double and a twin room downstairs with a jack n' jill bathroom which is great for younger families who would like to sleep close by.
Villa de la Colline benefits from ample privacy and is surrounded by a very large landscaped garden full of lovely flowers and colour which merges onto the nearby farm land, the views are wonderful, part of the garden is fully enclosed which is perfect if you'd like to bring your dog.
This holiday rental includes a private swimming pool and pool area for cooling off, BBQ and table tennis table are also available for family fun! There are various outdoor seating areas surrounding the house for relaxing, dining and sunbathing.
The village of Cherveix-Cubas is a short walk away and provides a couple of good restaurants one of which 'Francas' is particularly popular with locals, a café/tabac, depot de pain, post office, a pharmacy and even a hairdressers/beauty salon. In and around the village there are some well signposted walks which take you through the countryside and along the nearby river, Auvézère.
You will also find an option to hire canoes in Cherveix-Cubas, so there's fun for all the family on the doorstep!
Les Hydrangeas near Forges de Savignac-Lédrier
Les Hydrangeas is a comfortable house on the edge of the pretty village of Savignac-Lédrier.
With ample garden space, pretty views and well-equipped throughout. Within walking distance of Forges de Savignac-Lédrier. Classé 3 étoiles Meuble de Tourisme.
Les Hydrangeas is a traditionally built house with a blend of period and modern features inside. There is a large private garden with a choice of seating areas, a barbecue and a nice big dining table close to the kitchen. Sun and shade can be enjoyed in equal measures.
A stone's throw from the Auvézère gorges, this property located in the Périgord Vert offers a quiet and natural setting perfect for relaxation plus there are many activities and nature discoveries are available to you: hiking and kayaking in the gorges of the Auvézère, tree climbing, wakeboarding at the leisure base of Rouffiac.
The Forges de Savignac-Lédrier site is very close within walking distance of the house, a little further by car you will be able to explore the Vaux stationery stores where you can visit the original paper mill. For horse lovers, or just for a great day out at the races, don't forget to explore Pompadour.
Moulin du Martinet, near Excideuil
Enjoy our historic holiday villa with private swimming pool, walking distance to the restaurants and shops of the market town of Excideuil.
This fantastic home has a big heart, originally a paper mill in the 1670s, more recently a flour mill from 1900 until the mid 1960s.
Although the wheels of industry have long since stopped turning, Moulin du Martinet has been lovingly restored into a warm and welcoming Dordogne villa ideal for those who holiday with all the family and friends, thriving when its rooms are full.
Moulin du Martinet is situated in the quaint hamlet of Saint Médard d'Excideuil, a short walk from historic Excideuil with its 10th century monastery and excellent weekly market.
The villa was built on its own island surrounded by the river Loue which means guests can enjoy some privacy from the outside world and have plenty of space to explore the gardens and enjoy the swimming pool. Children are very welcome at this property, cot and high chair can be provided if requested when booking.
Moulin du Martinet is situated in the quaint hamlet of Saint Médard d'Excideuil, a short walk (10 minutes) from historic Excideuil with its 10th century monastery and excellent weekly market (Thursday). There are a selection of cafés and restaurants to chose from, as well as some artisan shops. Of course, there is a Boulangerie too! Also in Excideuil there is a large supermarket if you require a larger shop.
Maison Rocher in Segur-le-Chateau near Pompadour Heras
Maison Rocher is ever popular! A cute country cottage in the 'Plus Beau Village' of Segur-le-Chateau, and within 15 minutes drive of Pompadour Heras
Maison Rocher is located a short 5-minute walk from Segur-Le-Chateau, one of France's 'plus beaux villages'. Positioned up on the hillside, this house is instantly charming.
Filled with interesting traditional features, all lovingly restored. The interior compliments the external views with calming neutral tones, comfortable furnishings and a touch of style throughout. A one-off home in a unique location which is well worth a visit. Stair gates are provided at this property for children's safety, as well as the provision of a high chair and cot if required. The slabbed terrace is also fully enclosed.
A large, south facing terrace leads through patio doors into the ground floor kitchen-dining room, with an attached utility room. In the summer, the terrace is the perfect area for relaxed outdoor dining. There is also a bathroom on the ground floor. The first floor comprises a comfortable lounge with log burner, double bedroom and ensuite shower and WC. There are a further two double bedrooms on the second floor, but please be advised, the stairs are steep!
Rediat Cor in Hautefort Village
An enchanting Périgordian home with panoramic views situated in the heart of Hautefort Village. Walking distance to restaurants, cafés and brocantes.
Arriving to Rediat Cor you're welcomed by a mix of excellently preserved traditional features, and tasteful modern touches.
Nicely finished sandstone walls and exposed beams typical of the Périgord region give a feeling of comfort, warmth and character complimented by the decor and calm colour palate throughout.
Quality appliances and furnishings, unique artwork, books, objets d'art and nooks n' crannies, not to mention a nicely stocked store cupboard with thoughtful essentials to get your holiday underway. This property is particularly well equipped for children and babies, stair gates are installed, there is a pram, a high chair, a cot, a number of childrens books and games, a potty and a room thermometer.
Rediat Cor is situated in the picturesque and very popular village of Hautefort. Positioned on the ramparts of Château de Hautefort, you have excellent rolling views of the Dordogne countryside.
Well situated and within walking distance of all local amenities such as an excellent bakery, not to be missed! A florist, café, a choice of wonderful restaurants, a beauty therapist, various antique stores, a hairdresser and a small local brewery.
